Replace programs' shortcut on desktop
Shortcuts when created are not always created in the proper way, and Max Privacy Protector identifies this but sometimes it is necessary to recreate the shortcut in the correct fashion.
Below are the instructions for creating/recreating your shortcut
- To put a shortcut on the desktop.
- Open "My Computer".
- Double-click a drive or folder.
- Click the item you want such as a file, program, folder, printer, or computer.
- On the File menu, click "Create Shortcut".
- Resize the window so you can see the desktop.
- Drag the new shortcut to the desktop.
- To open "My Computer", click "Start", and then click "My Computer". You can also drag an item to the desktop with the right mouse button, and then click "Create Shortcut(s) here". If you would like to change a shortcut's properties then simply right-click the shortcut and click "Properties". When you delete a shortcut to an item the original item is not deleted. The program should still exist on your computer in its original location.

There are two ways to uninstall Max Privacy Protector:
1) Click Start ->Programs->Max Privacy Protector->Remove Max Privacy Protector
2) Click Start ->Settings->Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs-> Max Privacy Protector
- I bought Max Privacy Protector and can't seem to register my copy...
Simply copy the registration code we gave you on your order and paste it into Max Privacy Protector when prompted for it. The registration code are case sensitive just like password so enter correctly what we gave the format.
- When I downloaded Max Privacy Protector and then tried to launch the setup program I get an error why is this?
You may have received a corrupt download due to noise on your Internet connection please download again and reinstall the application you can download the software from this link.
- When I try to register the software it says what am I doing wrong?
All key provided at the time of purchase have been tested and proven to work. The most common mistakes are using capitals and spaces (do not use caps or spaces). The Key is Case sensitive.
