- No Help File Opens When I Click "Help Contents" or F1
It is discovered that there was a problem in early versions downloaded before and including part of Monday July 19, 2004 that didn't set up the Desktop or Quick Launch icon properly if you directed the installation program to set one or both of these up. The Help file must be in the "working directory" of the application, and it wasn't being set properly. If you start the application from the Windows start menu you shouldn't have this problem.
If you downloaded a version with this problem, it can be fixed by using one or the other of the following methods:
Download and install again - it is not necessary to uninstall anything first. If you have a fast Internet connection this is the easiest way to fix the problem.
Right click on the start icon and select "Properties". Then set the "Start In" directory to the same directory as contained in the "Target". Make sure you don't include the "/mpgpro.exe" portion at the end in the "Start In" field. If you installed both desktop and quick launch icons these steps will need to be followed for both.
