Brief Introduction

Use Burn Proof technology

If you have a CD recorder that supports "Burn Proof" technology, you are in luck. This option will make sure that you never have another failed burn again! And this option will be active automatically.

Burner Speed

This default to "Max" which is the maximum speed possible on your CD recorder. 1X speed recording is comparable to the amount of time necessary to playback an audio CD. Since a standard audio CD holds 74 minutes, it will take 74 minutes to record an entire CD at 1X speed. An 8X speed recorder will take 74/8 minutes, which is about 9 minutes. If you are lucky enough to have a 16X speed burner, it will take about 4.5 minutes to record an entire CD!

If you are having problems recording a CD or if you wish to do other things during a burn, such as browsing the web, you should choose a lower burn speed.

You can abort at any time by clicking on the "Cancel" button. If burning, aborting will result in an unusable CD. Kongsoft MP3 CD Burner will ask you if you are sure you want to abort, though.

  1. How does it work?
    Simply drag and drop the songs you want onto the main screen, hit the Burn button, and in a short time you will have a custom CD! With Kongsoft MP3 CD Burner, you can choose to burn about 80-minute audio CDs on either CDR/RW discs. There is no need to convert to WAV! Your CD is burned directly saving your hard drive space.

  2. My recorder is not recognized or speed is incorrect. What shall I do?
    Try to rescan drives (Drive->Rescan->Internal/External Initialization) in both modes. Please install with ASPI Layer and change Kongsoft MP3 CD Burner in ASPI mode.

  3. System Requirements:

    Pentium 133 MHz or better
    16M or more for Windows 95/98/ME
    32M or more for Windows NT4/2000 Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP
    About 3Mb free hard drive space
