Virtual BassLine 3.5 - User Guide and FAQScreenshots - More Details
Controlling the soundVirtual BassLine creates its sound with a signal generator than can produce square wave form and ramp wave form. The wave form is chosen with SCU/RAMP control in synthesizer module. All the sound params are controled with knobs. Click and drag with the left mouse button on knobs to change their position. The generator produces the frecuency of the played note. It can be transposed one octave up or down with TUNING. A note can begin to sound with the frequency of the last note and the note takes its frequency in a time selected by SLIDE. Increasing SLIDE level is possible to get interesting effects. The sound of the generator can be processed by an 18 dB/octave low pass filter. CUT OFF control changes the low pass filter cutoff frequency. Envelope is added to cutoff frequency. Envelope level is controlled by ENV MOD. Envolepe is AR (Attack-Release) type. The envelope attack is quick but the release can be controlled by DECAY for 200 milliseconds to 3 seconds. Resonance in filters is the amount of output signal sent to input. RES control changes the resonance giving harmonics to sound. Envelope values are applied to accentuated notes and the level is controlled by ACCENT. Virtual BassLine has a distortion unit than cuts the sound signal up to a value fixed by THRESHOLD. Cut signal is transformed in harmonics and their level can be contolled with GAIN. Virtual BassLine has an echo unit. Controls for echo are DELAY and FEED BACK. With DELAY control is fixed the delay between echoes and with FEED BACK its decay. Its reverberation unit may be controlled too. The initial reverberations time can be controlled by DELAY, the time than reverberation can be heard is controlled by DECAY. The reverberation added to the original sound is modified with LEVEL. VOLUME and PAN controls output signal level and its panoramic in stereophonic systems. Screenshots - More Details |
