How to use CD to MP3 Ripper
- Click Start > Programs > CD to MP3 Ripper > CD to MP3 Ripper to start CD to MP3 Ripper.
- Put audio CD into your CD-ROM, then choose the right CD-ROM device from the drop-down list box, the CD tracks will soon be shown in the file list.
- Check those tracks that you want to rip. Click checkbox to check or uncheck all the tracks.
- Choose the output format.
- Set output audio format files setting.
- Set output file's folder. Click the button to set the output folder. Click the button to launch the file explorer and go to the output folder.
- Click Extract button, then CD to MP3 Ripper will start ripping CD track(s) to audio file(s).
Frequently Asked Questions - CD to MP3 Ripper
- Why can't it convert my WMA files?
To convert the WMA files, please make sure you may play it on your computer and the WMA file(s) are not copyright protected. And please make sure that the Windows Media Format codec is installed on your computer.
- How to set the output options when converting CD to audio files?
Before ripping CDs to audio files, you can configure the output audio files' settings including CBR, VBR, Maximum Bitrate, Minimum Bitrate, Quality, Channels, Output Folder. You may enter the options dialog from "Tools > Options ..."
- How to rename the default tracks' names?
The default tracks' names are "Tracks1.xxx" (xxx is the extension name that may be mp3, wav, wma, ogg, vqf), "Tracks2.xxx", "Tracks3.xxx", ...
If you want to change these default named tracks, you may double click the item, then enter a different name when an input box is activated.
You can also click the list to highlight it, click the "Property" button on the toolbar or click the menu item "File > Property ..." to activate the input box.
