1. What is MusiGenesis?
   MusiGenesis is a program that "grows" music on a PC. You simply select an instrument for each track, and MusiGenesis starts adding random musical elements (called "patterns") to the basic unit of your song called a loop. By keeping the patterns that sound good and deleting the patterns that don't, you can create a unique piece of music.
   
   Once you have created your basic song elements, you can stretch your loop into a full-length song by growing mixes. A mix is simply a sequential arrangement of your loop which turns the various tracks and patterns on and off as the song plays. The way MusiGenesis creates these mixes is very similar to the way it creates tracks, by adding on to the mix randomly and letting you decide whether you like each addition or not.
