Data Ferret 4.06Search websites and automatically extracts names, addresses and telephone numbers from them and save as Windows files.
For those companies who have used yellow page websites to try and compile information on their target markets, Data Ferret is the answer. It has a built in web browser which loads up your chosen website where you apply your searches. When the first page of results appears, you simply click on the extract button and Data Ferret will scan the page and extract just the names, addresses, phone numbers, Zip/Post codes, email and web addresses if available. Once one page has been scaned and extracted, the next page is automatically loaded and the process continues until all results have been extracted. These details are then saved to a local file so that they can be used off line to construct marketing campaigns, tasks and to do lists, produce labels, or be exported to other Customer Relationship packages. Data Ferret can be used either interactively, page by page or simply given a list or search criteria, such as categories and locations and it will automatically apply the searches to the selected websites and save the resulting data. Key Features:
Data Ferret has standard Window XP interface, very beautiful and intuitive. It's also performed smart when search websites and extract company information. The operation can be finished automatically. The data extracted can be export to Excel, Word, HTML, CSV files. Data Ferret is excellent and powerful, yet, it always encounter error in operation.
