Frequently Asked Questions - MultiCalendar Personal/Professional/Enterprise Ed
- Does MultiCalendar have a limit on each day's entries?
MultiCalendar does not have any limit on the each day's entries. And all appointments are saved in database, and are dynamically loaded when needed. So the only limit is the database side. MultiCalendar's database allows at most 200 million records under windows 95/98/Me, and 1 billion under windows NT/2000. For an example, if you input 200 entries daily, you can use MultiCalendar for 200 Million/200/365=2739 Year. And if you input 2000 entries daily, you can use it for 273.9 year. This number is counted based on the assumption that you install the server on Windows 95/98/Me. If you use WindowsNT/2000 as the server, the year amount will be larger. Another plus, if you create a recurrent appointment/event, only one record is saved in database with the recurrent pattern definition in database. This also helps to save the disk size and table's space in database.
