Installation

The PDF Chart Creator Command Line Tool is distributed in a ZIP archive which contains the following files:

• PDFChart.exe - Command Line application
• PDFChart.chm - Manual in Microsoft Compressed HTML Help format
• test.bat - Example batch file that will create an example PDF document (using the commands in BarHoriz.txt) and automatically view it
• BarHoriz.txt - Commands and data required to create the example Horizontal Bar chart

Simply extract these files from the ZIP archive and place in a directory location of your choice.

Getting Started

To try this out straight away either type in the following line at the command line (assuming that the current working directory has been changed to where the files have been extracted from the ZIP): .\PDFChart.exe -options BarHoriz.txt -openpdf

Or double-click on the test.bat file.

Both of these will create the example Horizontal Bar chart PDF document BarHoriz.pdf and then attempt to open it using the default PDF viewer. You may be surprised to find that the file size of this example chart is only just over 3 Kb!
