Power-ups:
When you destroy enemies, a power-up will occasionally spawn. You simply move your harpoon on to a power-up to collect it. Each power-up will give your harpoon special abilities:
- Fast Shot:This allows your harpoon to shoot its ropes much faster, making it a lot easier to fill in the level.
- Slow Motion:Collecting this causes all the enemies to move very slowly, making it easier for you to fill the level. It only lasts for one shot, so make it count!
- Score Multiplier:Grabbing this will cause all subsequent scoring to be double. If you grab another, scoring will be triple, and so on.
- Time Bomb: This power-up attaches a bomb to your harpoon. Just click the mouse button to let the bomb go. Its wick will burn for 2 seconds, then it will explode, destroying any enemy within close proximity to it - very useful!
- Torpedo:Getting this one attaches a torpedo to your harpoon. Clicking the mouse button will shoot the torpedo across the level. Aim for any baddie you want to take out, but don't get too close, because it won't let you shoot!
- Magnet:Collecting the magnet power-up gives you a big magnet to shoot into an empty area. When the bugs get close to the magnet, it attracts them, causing them to stay in place. It can even pull walking bugs off of the pipes, causing them to explode!
- Flip Flopper:This is a bad power-down. It makes your harpoon constantly change directions, making it very tough to line up a shot!
- Anchor:Grabbing the anchor will allow you to drop some permanent pipes in the playfield. You can drop it in a big, open area, making that area easier to fill.
- Invincibubble:Very useful, the invincibubble stops any enemies from destroying your harpoon. Use it wisely, since it only lasts for one shot!
- Explode All Walkers: Grabbing this super-powerful power-up will destroy every walking enemy on the entire level!
- Explode All Floaters: Grabbing this super-powerful power-up will destroy every floating enemy on the entire level!
- Extra Life: Get this to earn a free life, everyone's favorite!
