5 Star Word Engine - User Guide and FAQScreenshots - More DetailsFrequently Asked Questions about 5 Star Word Engine Q. I've registered, but can't play. What can I do? A. Well, there is one problem: the cracks and keygens for the game won't work. When you're using a keygen, the game seems to be registered, but when you restart it just won't work at all. Solution? Purchase the full version and you'll have no problems with playing 5 Star Word Engine. Q. My copy of Word Engine is by default set to Level 0, and it's too tough to play. A. This was a feature of the demo-version of Word Engine, which is absent in the release. Upgrade to the latest version. Q. I've upgraded to the latest version and still see this Level 0. A. The problem is in the old saved files. It's easy to correct though - just choose the level you need and play at least one round, your new settings will be saved. Or you can simply delete the files with ".sav" extension in SAVE sub-directory of your Word Engine folder. Q. What is this rating system? A. 5 Star Word Engine uses rating calculation method accepted in professional chess. So, there isn't straightforward correlation between the result of the round and changes in your rating - your current rating and your computer opponent rating both count. If your rating is much lower than your computer opponent's one, you will get much points when you win, and will not lose points, when you actually lose. You will also get points if the round ends in a draw in this case. Q. Is 5 Star Word Engine free? A. No, but registered users get all upgrades for free (you purchase the game only once - all future versions are free for you). Q. Is there a network support? A. Not yet, but we are working on this. It is planned for the next version. Q. My hard drive died and I've lost 5 Star Word Engine. What can I do? A. Re-download 5 Star Word Engine distribution file and contact us. If you are a registered user we'll be able to recover your registration info. Screenshots - More Details |
