Details
About the Toolbar
The toolbar provide buttons that access some of the frequently used commands
in the menus. To activate a command, click its toolbar button. If a command
is unavailable, its button appears grayed-out.
About the Tool Palette
The Tool palette contains drawing tools. When you place the mouse cursor
over a Tool palette button, the tooltip with the tool name appears, and
the Status Bar displays a short description of its use.
About the Color Tools
The Color Palette contains the selection of available colors and displays
information about the selected color. Whenever you move the cursor (regardless
of which tool is active) over the colors panel, the cursor changes into
the Color Picker. Left-click to select a foreground color. Right-click
to select a background color. The last selected color is marked in the
color palette with a red frame.
About the Workspace
As the name implies, the workspace is the area of the main window where
you create and edit icons. When you open an icon file, the image loads
in the workspace.

- What's the main differences between IconXP and
ArtIcons Pro?
Two main differences between Articons and IconXP are:
- 1) Articons (Pro) can manage icon libraries but IconXP can not.
- 2) ArtIcons (Pro) allows to create images containing several layers.
The most powerful icon editor is ArtIcons Pro. It contains all IconXP
effects plus all ArtIcons features.
