Editing Images
- Importing Images via Clipboard
To import an image (or part of it) stored on the Clipboard, do one
of the following:
- Choose Paste from the Edit menu
- Click the Paste button on the toolbar
- Press Ctrl+V or Shift+Ins hotkey
If the image stored on the Clipboard is smaller than the icon, it
will be pasted as is; if the image is larger, the Import Image dialog
window will appear. Use the mouse to drag and/or resize the selection
in the preview area of this dialog window. If necessary, specify the
transparent color by clicking the Transparency button, picking the
color and marking the Transparent checkbox.
After you click the OK button, the part of the image will be pasted
into the icon template as a selection. You can move this selection
to any part of the template or deselect it by clicking outside the
image.
- Clearing the Entire Image
Follow the steps below to clear the entire image:
- If any part of the image is selected, click outside of the selected
area
- Select Edit/Clear Image from the main menu
- Rotating and Flipping Images
To rotate/flip an image, select Rotate or Flip from the popup menu.
You can also rotate the selected part of an image in the same manner.
