File operation

Create a new icon
The software automatic create a blank icon with a default image after run.

Open a file
When you chose the menu item "File->Open" or click the "Open" button, a dialog box as shown picture will be pop, There are three open methods:
A.Open a icon file direction: double-click a icon file then open it.
B.Export a icon from .EXE .DLL file: click a file, then all icon resource will be show in right frame of the button the software will create a new icon file to save icon which you selected.
C.Convert other images to icon: for example, JPG, BMP, GIF, PCX so on. Choose a file and click "Open" button, A "Image Crop" box will be pop.More details of "Image Crop" you can refer other section about it.

Image Crop
The "Image Crop" box it loaded image as shown follow picture. There are 4 steps about image crop:
A.Drag cursor to define the crop area on image.
B.Double-click on defined area.
C.The defined area will be move to the right list.
D.Repeat above step to crop next.
There are some frame with fixed size under the image frame, click it and there will be define a relevant dimension area then you can drag it to area which you want to crop.but the icon size can't over 128 pixel.

Icon save
A.Click "Save" in "File" menu to save current icon to file.(Quick key: Ctrl+S)
B.Click "Save As" in "File" menu to save current icon to other new file.
C.Click "Save All" in "File" menu to save current all icons and contents to file.

Export
Click "Export" in "File" menu to extract current icon to file other format. it doesn't matter to current icon file.

Multi-Document support
The software supports to edit multi-document at the same time, Just like follow "Document Navigator bar". The focus window is editing document currently. You can click the title to shift current document window. It's meaning there are last content didn't been save if there is a '*' symbol after title. You can close current active document by click the "Close" b.
