Dialogue box for importing DWG/DXF files

After designated DWG/DXF/DWF(v2.5-2005) format is chosen, the dialogue box will appear.

Dialogue box for importing raster images

The dialogue box appears when designated raster image (BMP, JPEG, TGA, PCX, GIF, WMF) format is chosen.

Here the image can be previewed and the size can be altered. The software automatically locks the vertical and horizontal scale of the image. Reducing the size of the image can also reduce the size of outputted exe.

Frequently Asked Questions - Acme CADPacker

  1. Why cannot the grating image in DWG/DXF/DWF files be displayed?
The current version of CADPacker doesn's support display of embedded raster image.

  2. What to do when it's too slow to import DWG/DXF/DWF files or the file size is too big?
What saved by CADPacker is vector-plotting data, so too much filling in the file will lead to large data size and slow importing and display. CADPacker can only save plotting data because it must ensure its execution without depending on any CAD or data files. At present, CADPacker cannot well solve this problem, so you should choose to output raster.
