Using Background Remover
This plug-in works under RGB layer with 8bits/channel only. If your
image has no layer you must create one at first.
- Open an image in your graphic editor.
- Call the Background Remover plug-in. (For example, in the Adobe
Photoshop use "Filter->Image Skill->Background Remover" menu item).
- Using Mark color for erasing tool mark area that you want to delete.
- Using Mark Object tool mark area that you want to extract.
- Press Apply button in order to extract selected objects.
- If you result of extraction is unsatisfactory, adjust the Strength
control or (and) check Textured Background flag then press Apply again.
- If need, delete all marks using Delete all marks tool and repeat
steps 3-6 in order to achieve desirable result. If you can not do
it, use Manual Erase/Recover tool.
- Adjust the Contract, Feathering or (and) Boundary Smoothing controls
for result tuning and press Apply.
- If the image has semi-transparent areas (like wool or flying away
hair) mark these zones using Defringe zone brush and press Apply in
order to unmix colors. We recommend apply this operation at final
stage of extraction.
- Press OK button.
