- How to Update Web Album?
After uploading all the files onto your web site, how to modify them? How to add new photos? How to delete some of them? The most important thing maybe: not to update all of the files.
Modify or add new photos:
If you have not delete any photos, you can select 'Only export photos after ...' in step 3 to set a time threshold. Only photos add/modified after this time will be export.
Tip: you can export to a empty folder to easily find out which file need to upload again.
Delete files:
First of all, delete the photos on local disk ( in the folder you want to export ), then select 'Only export HTML pages' in step 3, export HTML pages. Because all of the photos has not been changed, so you need to update the HTML pages only. The file size of pages is much smaller than images, so you can upload them quickly.
After upload all pure HTML pages in this folder, you need to delete the corresponding images on server. For example, a file 'A.jpg' was deleted, you should delete 'A_small.jpg', 'A_thumb.jpg', 'A..htm' on server (A*.*).
Tip: You can disable the unchanged folder in step 2 by uncheck the item 'Export this folder'.
