Frequently Asked Questions - PhotoThumb
- Can I remove the filename displayed below each thumbnail?
Sure. Just remove the %FName parameter in the Thumbnail Options > Advanced tab (and in the Thumbnail link tab, if neccessary). Using such parameters, you can customize all information on your web pages.
- Can I change the link text below each image?
You can change the link text for both index and single image pages in the Options dialog (keyboard shortcut F8). This is useful if you want to use a customized, or non-English text on your pages.
- How can I add image captions to the single image pages?
You can add image captions by adding file descriptions (select any file(s) and hit F12) and using the %Desc parameter in the Advanced (for thumbnails) and/or the Thumbnail link (for single image pages) tab.
- How can I make pages similar to the sample pages on your website?
Most of the sample pages use the same Style Sheets that are distributed with PhotoThumb. To use Style Sheets, simply select the Use CSS checkbox in the HTML settings tab. For more information, take a look at Using Cascading Style Sheets in the help file.
