Glossary

Active Window A top-level window of the application with which the user is working. Active window has the input focus.

Current Folder The folder, which is selected in the Tree Window. Contents of this folder are displayed in the Objects Window.

Selected Object A file, folder or other similar object (for example, a printer), which is selected in the Objects Window. This window can have 0, 1 or more selected objects simultaneously.

Main Selected Object An object, which was selected last in the Objects Window. The name of the Main Selected Object (MSO) in this window is displayed on a blue background, whereas the names of other selected objects are displayed on a black background. Some operations (for example, Rename) operate not with all selected objects, but only with MSO.

Current Filter A filter, which is applied for selection of objects among all objects of the Current Folder. Selected objects (if they exist) are displayed in the Objects Window. To define, what filter at the given moment is set, look at the Filter Window.

Predefined Filter One of ten filters, which are delivered together with StTex.
