How to... capture

Step by step description how to capture video from digital camcorder.

Capturing without scene detection

1. Click button on main window (Video preview window) to open DV Capture window.
2. Select to capture as much video into one file as you wish.
3. Click Play button to start video reproduction from camcorder.
4. Click to start capturing whenever you want.
5. Capture indicator will turn to .
6. When you want to stop capturing just press Stop button.
7. Close DV Capture window and take a look in Video preview window. There is new movie - the one you just captured.

Capturing with scene detection

1. Click button on main window (Video preview window) to open DV Capture window.
2. Select wanted scene detection difference (from 1 sec, up to 1000 days)
3. Click Play button to start video reproduction from camcorder.
4. Click one of buttons to start capturing. For details about each button see Video Capture controls.
5. Capture indicator will turn to .
6. Click one of buttons to stop capturing. For details about each button see Video Capture controls.
7. Close DV Capture window and take a look in Video preview window. There is new movie - the one you just captured.
