Recording a sound coming from another applications or Internet
If the Record Sound option is checked but you can't record a sound coming from Internet or other applications, perhaps you sound card doesn't support "what you hear" recording.
Note: MiniCapture enables record sound coming from microphone with any card without problems. The problems arise with streaming audio or with sound coming from other applications.
Our software supports only sound cards with the "what you hear" recording ability and can't emulate this feature. Maybe it will support those cards in future.
I see a 'black screen' when playing the result of recording
If you see a 'black screen' when playing the result file, You should run Minicapture before other application .
- Go to the Start Menu and select Settings/Control Panel.
- From the list view, select Display Properties and select the last page titled Settings.
- Find the Advanced button and then choose Troubleshooting.
- There you will find a slider control for hardware acceleration. Move that slider to None, then click OK button.
