Frequently Asked Questions - My Screen Recorder Pro

  1. Can I publish my screen recordings on my web site?
My Screen Recorder Pro has many distribution options, including Windows Media (WMV) format for Web streaming. This allows you to create screen recordings that are very small in size which you can place on your web site or play from a streaming server.

  2. Can My Screen Recorder Pro create Flash files?
My Screen Recorder Pro can produce screen recordings in Flash format that are significantly smaller compared to their AVI equivalents. Flash also offers wider cross-platform compatibility. A majority of computer users on both PC and Mac are able to view Flash files.

  3. When should I record in AVI?
Depending on the video and audio compressors used, AVI recordings generally deliver better playback quality. My Screen Recorder Pro produces Flash recordings in segments of 10 minutes each. For instance, My Screen Recorder Pro makes two Flash files of 10 minutes each for a 20-minute recording. Therefore, we recommend AVI for longer periods of recording.
