Ace Screensaver is a small and easy to use screensaver maker program. It supports creating your own picture slideshow screensavers.

Ace ScreenSaver can create and distribute your own slideshow screen saver for Windows 95/98/NT4/2000/Me computers. You can display an unlimited number of photos and select from more than 90 picture slideshow transition effects.

No programming skills needed for using this software, just collect pictures and sounds and add them to your screensaver project with just several clicks.

Ace Screensaver supports creating self-installing screensavers which means created screensavers are distributable.

Ace Screensaver is a mini screensaver maker with a cool and simple interface. With its simple interface, no rocket knowledge needed to use this small program. There are four tabbed window placed on the main window, they are Images, Options, Sounds, and Transtions. A user can add and set images files in the Images window, configure screensaver project's parameters in the Options window, add and set audio files in the Sounds window, and select from more than 90 different transition effects in the Transition window.

Ace Screensaver has two key features, they are: 1, creating distributable screensaver installation package. 2, supporting more than 90 picture slideshow transition effects.

Ace Screensaver is limited to its features, it only supports several most used image formats like BMP, JPG, GIF and WMF, and it only supports 3 audio formats MP3, WAV and MIDI. It does not support video files that most users may need.

In brief, Ace Screensaver may be a good choice for a novice, but it may not suit for professional users or commercial use. It can't meet many advanced requirements.
