Searching the Bible

ActionBible includes a Bible search engine, which provides accurate search results for the word or words your are looking for. You can choose between three types of searches.

Phrase Search

Type in a phrase exactly as you would expect it to read in scripture. ActionBible will then search the selected Bible translation for the phrase and present you with the results.

All Words Search

Enter in a few words, separated by a space, and the search engine will find all verses that contain all the words you entered, but not in any particular order.

Any Words Search

Type in a few words, separated by a space, and ActionBible will find all verses that contain at least one of the words you entered.

To have the reference appear at the end of the verse, check the box labeled Show scripture reference at end of verse. You can also either print a single scripture from the search results, or all scriptures from the search results by right-clicking and selecting the appropriate choice.
