Software Description:

Prayer times for any location can be determined mathematically if the longitude and latitude of the location are known. That's what Delta Minaret attempts to do.

Delta Minaret includes a database of nearly 500 locations. You can select the location where you are and if you can't find it, you can add your own location to the database. Delta Minaret will then calculate the prayer times for that location and will save your settings for future use. You can also choose the method of calculating Asr Time either following the Shafi school or the Hanafi school. As for the calculation of Fajr and Isha Times, you can choose among the five famous conventions currently used to determine the twilight angle values and you can also add your own method and angle values.

It is important to note that the application also calculates the hijri date corresponding to the current gregorean date. There might be -1/+1 day discrepancy since the calculation isn't based on actual moon sighting.
