Software Description:
Cross Section Calculator is a 2D CAD package designed to calculate cross section properties. Sections can contain lines, arcs and multiple inner and outer loops. Calculates area, moments and product of inertia, radius of gyration and section modulus. Editing features include trim, extend, offset and mirror. User only needs to draw a closed loop plane figure. The enclosed area will be automatically recognized and cross-hatched.

- Allows multiple loops, both internal (nested) and external. Internal loops may be nested multiple levels deep.
- Drawing commands include line, circle, arc and fillet
- Editing commands include erase, move, copy, trim, extend, rotate, mirror and offset
- Cross sections can be saved to disk and used with Svara stress analysis programs.
- US or SI units with automatic conversion
