SettingsEnter Adds New Card/Checks Answer - Checking this box means that when you press Enter or Return on the keyboard after typing, another card is added if you are editing a set, and the answer is checked if you are studying. When this is selected, holding down Shift and pressing Enter will add a new line, just as if you were pressing Enter in a word processor. When this checkbox is cleared, the functions are reversed.For Upload - When you upload your FlashCard Sets to the Collection, your name and email address are stored with the set. By entering this information here, you prevent yourself from having to re-enter it every time you upload a set. Show "Tip of the Day" - By default, when you launch Virtual FlashCards, the Tip of the Day screen is shown, giving you interesting tips and tricks you may not have thought of in Virtual FlashCards. This checkbox controls whether or not the tips are shown. For more information, click here Register - If you have not registered Virtual FlashCards, you will see two buttons, "Enter Registration Key" and "Buy Registration Key". Pressing the former will bring up a dialog box where you may enter the key you were provided. Pressing the latter will take you to our secure server where you may purchase Virtual FlashCards and release all the restrictions. Skin - If you have another Virtual FlashCards skin you would like to use, you may put it in the Skins directory of Virtual FlashCards' installation folder. Then you may select it from this dropdown. Sounds - To increase the speed at which you can study, you may want to have sounds play when you answer correctly or incorrectly. From this section of the Settings screen, you can change the sound or disable sound altogether. OK, Cancel, and Reset - Ok applies the settings you have made and closes the screen. Cancel closes the screen without making any changes. Reset sets all the settings values back to the default if you have changed them. Screenshots - More Details |
