1. What about spyware or adware ?
   DynAdvance Notifier does not contain any spyware or adware.
   
   
2. How can I setup DynAdvance Notifier to work with AOL ?
   To set up DynAdvance Notifier for AOL, create an IMAP account using the account wizard, and enter "imap.aol.com" as the email server. For username use the appropriate AOL screen name (with any spaces removed -- "John Doe" becomes "JohnDoe" or "johndoe" -- this is what we call "normalizing" a Screen Name) and that Screen Name's AOL (not AIM) Password. It's as simple as that.
   
   
3. How can I setup DynAdvance Notifier to work with a proxy ?
   To make DynAdvance Notifier work with a proxy, do the following for Windows XP: go to Control Panel, choose Internet Options - Connections.For dial-up, select the connection for which you want to configure a proxy, then click "Settings" and enter the proxy information there. For a LAN computer, click LAN Settings and enter the proxy information there.A similar approach works for Windows 98/Me/NT4/2000.
   
   
4. Why am I receiving "Internet Access Error" ?
   There are several possible causes:
   • There is a temporary problem with your Internet connection.Please check that web access works from your Internet browser.
   • There is a temporary problem with the E-mail provider. Please check that the e-mail account for which you receive the error is accessible from your Internet browser.
   • The webmail provider has changed something in their web access protocol. This is happening very rarely. This error can only be solved by reporting the problem to DynAdvance.
   • If the error does not disappear, one last solution is to remove the affected account(s) from the notifier, then add them again.
