how to install the new version of EmFTP?
- Select the type of EmFTP and the version of OS that you want by clicking one of the following links
- When you click the link for download, the File Download dialog box appears
- To begin the download, click the Open button. When the download is complete, the setup will start automatically
- Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to proceed with the setup.
Connect to a new server
- Click the Define Configuration button on the Toolbar, or select Select Configuration under the Tool menu and select Define Configurations.
- On the Configurations dialog box, click the New button.
- In the Configuration list box, "New Configuration" will be displayed, so you can rename this title to any name you would like.
- Double click on the renamed title, or click the Properties button when the renamed title is selected.
- On Properties, enter URL, User Name, Password and other settings. When you finish, click OK to close the Properties.
- On the Configurations dialog box, click the Connect button when the created title is selected to connect to the configured server.
