- Can Privacy Guard Pro clean my files automatically when I start my computer?
Simply configure the General options on the Advanced Tab in Privacy Guard Pro. In addition, please make sure the Load Privacy Guard Pro at Windows Startup checkbox is checked. Please also note that in order for clearing to take place when you shutdown your computer, you must leave Privacy Guard Pro running when you shutdown. This will not harm Privacy Guard Pro or your computer.
- How can I install Privacy Guard Pro?
If you download Privacy Guard Pro self-extracting setup file from Internet, just double click the setup file in Windows explorer and the setup will start. If you download the Privacy Guard Pro zip package, please extract all files from the package into a temporary directory using your archiver, such as WinZip or WinRAR. Run the installation program, follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
- Why the Mediaplayer playlist are still there after I choose to erase them?
This maybe you keep Mediaplayer running when you erasing it, because Mediaplayer will save the playlist again when it shutdowns.
It is strongly recommended that you shutdown all the programs that you want to erase, because some tracks can not be erased when these program are running.
- Why do the some browser history still there after erasing?
It is strongly recommended that you shutdown all the programs that you want to erase, because some tracks can not be erased when these programs are running. For MSN, AOL and Netscape, even you close all the windows of them, maybe their icon still on the system tray (lower right of the screen). Please check the system tray (lower right of your screen) to see if there is an icon of them, if you can find, you need to right click on it and close it before cleaning.
