Q: What is GL-AD Popup Terminator?
A: GleanerSoft AD Popup Terminator is an intelligent software that can
identify the unwanted popup windows generated by web pages and kills
them before they appear on the screen. It makes your surfing much more
comfortable and enjoyable.
Q: How does it work?
A: It's very easy! After you install it, it launches automatically when
you start your internet explorer. You needn't make any further configuration
at all.
Q: Can I customize it by my own preference?
A: Yes, the software provides a user-friendly interface for you to customize
it. You can build up your own url list for which you don't want Popup
Terminator to kill popup windows, disable/enable popup terminators,
disable/enable tray icons, or even reset internet explorer's context-menu
to its original.
Q: What is the system requirement?
A: You will need a Pentium 100 PC or higher, 16 MB or more. The operating
system should be windows 95, windows 98, windows 2000, windows NT 4.0
or windows XP. You need also have a Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0
or above installed on your system.
Q: Does the software support other browser software such as Netscape
or Opera?
A: No, GL-AD Popup Terminator does not support browser software other
than Internet Explorer. The software incorporates some techniques that
can embed itself into Internet Explorer seamlessly, while other software
such as Netscape don't provide interfaces with such techniques currently,
so we are sorry that we can't support them at this time.
Q: Does GL-AD Popup Terminator use a lot of hard disk space or system
resources?
A: No! GL-AD is very small so don't worry about hard disk space. It
also very takes up very small pieces of memory when launched. If your
computer is not well equipped, say, with only 64MB RAM, you may even
disable Auto start and Tray icon. By doing so you can still maintain
main functions of GL-AD Popup Terminator.
