Backup Plus 7.7.1 - User Guide and FAQScreenshots - More DetailsIntroduction - Time Backups Manager The Timed Backups Manager gives you the ability to schedule regular backups to be performed automatically and without any user intervention. By default, when Backup Plus is installed, a shortcut for the Timed Backups Manager will be placed in your Start Menu folder. This allows the Timed Backups Manager to load at system startup. If you do not plan to use the Timed Backups Manager to schedule any backups, you can delete the created shortcut in your Start Menu/Startup folder and the Timed Backups Manager will no longer load at system startup. Removing the Timed Backups Manager from your Windows StartUp:
If you have scheduled any timed backups, the Timed Backups Manager will read these and schedule the backups to be performed as required. You can view any timed backups, create new timed backups, and delete or edit existing timed backups by choosing the Tasks toolbar button or selecting the Task Manager option on the Options Menu. When creating a new timed backup, deleting an already scheduled timed backup or editing a timed backup, Backup Plus will attempt to shut down the Timed Backups Manager if it is loaded in your system tray before any of the above operations can be performed. This ensures the Timed Backups Manager has the latest up to date information for each timed backup. After you close the timed backups dialog, if the Timed Backups Manager was loaded, Backup Plus will attempt to reload it back into your system tray. Screenshots - More Details |
