Software Description:
Eazy Backup is the Next Generation in Application Backup and Restore. The Eazy Backup utility is designed to make it easy for all users with any level of expertise to create a backup or archive file of popular applications. This backup program includes logic to handle data from more than 19 popular applications including: Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Netscape, ACT, Microsoft Money, Quicken... and more.

Eazy Backup is a departure from the traditional backup program. Eazy Backup is supplied with built in logic to backup and restore various software applications (e.g., Microsoft Outlook). That is, Eazy Backup knows where the critical data is located and knows what data must be included to make an effective backup for an application. Equally importantly, Eazy Backup also knows how to restore to the proper location. Restoring data is often more difficult than making the backup - especially when restoring to a machine with a different version of Windows.

Key Features:

Backup Now! - Allow you to select a prior defined "Job" and then run Eazy Backup "normally" (i.e. by going through the "wizard" steps) or similar to a scheduled backup using the "Backup Now" button (which bypasses the "wizard" steps).
Incremental Backup - You may now choose to backup only new and/or changed items (also known as an "incremental" backup).
New Scheduler - The Eazy Backup Scheduler has been completely re-written. You may now exercise much greater control over the scheduled task.
Additional Options - Skip all files if locked. Show Skipped files as a critical event. Show File Icons (if not shown, the file load time is reduced even further). Split backups into multiple parts as a "global" option. Assign a default backup folder.
Built-in logic for Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Money, Quicken, Quick Books, ACT, NEO and many more.
Live Update to ensure that the program is always up-to-date.
Backup to zip disks, network drives, USB Drives and CD or DVD writers.
Automatic spanning of Zip disks and CD drives if required.
Produces compressed, "Zip compatible" backup files.
Wizard to create personal backups for non-standard data.

The main user interface provides quick access to the three main functions such as Backup, Restore, and Live Update. A step-by-step wizard guides you through the process of restoring or backing up files, choosing what files, and when to complete the action.

Eazy Backup only can complete one operation at a time, if you want to return to the main user interface, you must restart the program.

Overall, Easy Backup provides a simple and quick way to backup important files that almost every computer owner uses everyday.
