Screenshots - More Details

This is how you create a backup set:

  1. Select 'New backup set' from the 'File' menu.
  2. A new window will appear entitled 'Properties'. Here you'll set the options of the backup set.
  3. To add file operations to the set, right click in the list view (the box in the middle) and select 'Add folder' or 'Add file'.
  4. A new dialog will appear allowing you to set the details of the new file operation. All fields are optional, except from 'source file/folder' and 'destination folder'. Press the 'Finish' button when you've filled in the required fields.
  5. Back in the 'Properties' dialog you can add more file operations. When you have added all files and folder you want to backup you can adjust all other settings associated with the backup set. Browse through the tabs on the left hands side to view all options.
  6. When you're happy with the setting, simply press the 'Ok' button and you've created a backup set.
  7. To run the set return to the main window and right click on the backup set to run and choose 'Execute backup set'. You can also start it with a schedule or automatically.
