Running Clip Plus
It is recommended to have Clip Plus automatically load when you start a Windows session. When Clip Plus is running you will see a Clip Plus icon in the system tray (located at the end of the task bar.) Load Clip Plus if it is not already running.
- To activate Clip Plus select Start in Capture menu. Now Clip Plus ready to capture your items.
- Select Pause in Capture menu to temporarily stop Clip Plus.
General settings
Sartup

Run on system startup - select this check box if you want Clip Plus starts automatically on Windows startup.

Activate on startup - select this check box if you want Clip Plus starts to capture items on startup.

Minimize on startup - select this check box if you want Clip Plus appears only in system tray on startup.

Default file - you can specify Clip Plus collection (*.cps) you want to load automatically on startup.
Files
- Compress data - select this check box to enable data compression for newly created collections. This option dramatically reduces file size, but increases the time of saving.

Compact files automatically - when this check box is selected, Clip Plus compacts the collection automatically each time you close it.

Save collection on exit - select this check box if you want Clip Plus automatically saves collection to a file on exit.

Autosave feature allows you to save collections automatically. You should specify interval and select autosave check box to enable this feature.

Temporary folder - select folder for storing temporary information.
Prompts
- Delete item confirmation - select this check box if you want to be prompted when item is about to be deleted.

Delete non-empty group confirmation - select this check box if you want to be prompted when non-empty group is about to be deleted.

Purge group confirmation - select this check box if you want to be prompted before purging the group.

Comact file confirmation - select this check box if you want to be prompted when file is about to be compacted.
