Type Booster context menu
You can manage Type Booster using its context menu. The context menu can be opened by right-clicking on the program's icon in the system tray.
The menu has the following items:
- Preferences - the Type Booster settings.
- About - shows Type Booster's version info and registration info.
- Register - opens a window where you can specify information to register your copy of Type Booster.
- Exit - closes program.
Program settings
Type Booster's settings are divided into 4 categories, which correspond to following tabs:
- Word Complete - word autocompletion settings,
- Ignore list - list of applications, with which Type Booster wouldn't work,
- Security - security settings,
- About - Type Booster's version info and registration info
Word Complete
- Variants total - number of variants which Type Booster will offer
- Minimum word length - minimum length of words which type booster will offer
- Number of symbols for a prompt - number of symbols you must enter to get a prompt
- No prompt in single line edit controls - if checked Type Booster will not give a prompt in single line edit controls
- No prompt in dialogs - if checked Type Booster will not give a prompt in dialogs
- Learn words not shorter than... - Type Booster will learn words not shorter than the stated number of symbols
- Learn words typed... - Type Booster will learn words that have been typed not less than the stated number of times
- Notify user when learn new words - if checked Type Booster will inform user that a new word has been learned
- Follow the cursor - Type Booster will show a prompt near the cursor
- Position is set manually - Type Booster will show a prompt in user defined place
- Fixed size - prompt will have a fixed size
- Number of words in a window - number of words in a prompt with fixed size
- Hide when empty - hide prompt window if there are no variants
- Hide when no cursor or its position is unknown - hide prompt window if application doesn't use cursor or its position is impossible to define
