Software Description:
Backup is the best way to secure your PC against system crash, virus attack or casual unstable application. With the new backup-to-CD function, it can be sure that your documents and programs will be safe and within your reach no matter what happens. The program can also fulfill casual hard disk cloning and upgrading tasks. But in order to decrease download size of the demo version, it has removed a complete help file from the setup package.
Key Features:
- Burn backup image directly on CD or DVD; backup and restore partition/hard disk. FAT16/32, NTFS, Ext 2/3 FS are fully supported; all other partitions can also be treated in sector-by-sector mode.
- Backup not-mounted (hidden) partitions or save backup images on them (including FAT, NTFS and Ext2/3 file.
- Disk to disk copy; create more than one primary partition.
- Check sector surface.
- Create, delete, format partitions. Set partition attributes like active/inactive, hidden / unhidden; set partition ID and label.
- Copy partitions without data loss; copy FAT, NTFS, Ext2/3 FS partitions with simultaneous size change.
- Preview changes; view archive info, create and send logs; check file system integrity.
- Disk editor utility (for advanced users).
- ISO Burning utility to burn a bootable Recovery CD, which includes DOS and Linux versions of the Partition Imager and allows access to all FAT, NTFS and Ext2/3 FS partitions to place or read backup image.
- Boot from Recovery CD to perform any maintenance via DOS and Linux version of the Program or to use NTFS for Linux Driver to fix some critical system files on the NTFS partitions of the hard drive.
