EF StartUp Manager 3.00 - User Guide and FAQScreenshots - More Details
Main Window The appearance of the EF StartUp Manager is based on the well-known structure of the Windows Explorers. Left side is the tree, serves for the navigation on startup groups. In the right side is the entry list for the selected group in the tree. A characteristic represents the section "Controlled Startup". In this section the entries are not started by Windows, are started indirectly by the EF StartUp Manager. More to it you find under Controlled Startup. The list in the right window indicate the entries with the details. The columns have the following meaning: Name The key name which is the entry stored. Left side is a check box with their assistance you can activate or deactivate each entry. If you remove the check, the EF StartUp Manager copy the entry data in his ini file and remove it from the Windows startup configuration. This characteristic is very useful, if you not are sure about the entry. On other words makes a backup of it. Sure, you can restore with ease it, just set the check back. Command The command with those the programs start with Windows. Parameters Sometimes needs the programs one or more parameters. These parameters are separate showed in the list. Section The section where is this entry stored. State It indicates supplemental information about this entry. An empty field in the status column means that the program was already terminated. Delay and Priority Both can be used only in the Controlled Startup mode. New installations of the program do not show this two columns, are hidden by default. You can show or hide the main list columns in the configurations mask (see Configuration: Columns). You can change the arrangement and width of the columns with the mouse. Further you can sort, click with the mouse the head of the desired column. An arrow symbol marks the column, according to their contents of the list is sorted the sort sequence (ascending or descending). You can configure in the program options which columns are showed. With the main menu and the toolbar, you can call the several functions of the program. Screenshots - More Details |
