WinTools.net Professional 7.9.1 - User Guide and FAQScreenshots - More DetailsClean Uninstaller When you uninstall different software, temporary files and files not deleted in the process of uninstallation often remain on the hard disk. These files are no longer used, they take up disk space and increase disk access times. With the help of the tool "Clean Uninstaller" you can solve that problem. You can also control the installation process of program, monitor installed files and changes made to the Windows registry system files during installation. There are three steps to using "Clean Uninstaller": Step 1. First, create a checkpoint. A Checkpoint is a "snapshot" of the state of the system before changes have been made to it. To create a checkpoint , press the "Create" button and wait until the checkpoint has been created. Step 2. Next, install the program that you want to monitor. To do this you can use the "Execute" button or run the program using Explorer. Step 3. After installing the program, any changes made to the system during installation must be analyzed. To do this you need to press the "Analyse" button. When analysis completes a dialog window will appear displaying the results of the analysis with the option to save those results. When you save the results, a record about the program with detailed description of all changes will appear in the "Installations" bookmark. This enables completely uninstalling the program. Attention! By default the tool "Clean Un" searches for changes only on disk "c:\" of your computer. This implies that applications which you're installing will be placed on disk "c:\". If you are going to install the application on some other drive, do not forget to add the appropriate drive information to the "Files and folders" list. Scan Files When different programs are running, temporary files necessary for the proper functioning those programs are created on hard disk. Quite often these temporary files are not deleted. The temporary files remain on hard disk, occupy the space and sometimes slowing the work of your computer. The tool "Scan Files" is used for periodic cleaning of the computer from temporary and unused files. When pressing the Scan button the tool "Scan Files" checks the hard disk for presence of unused temporary files. If a temporary file is found the tool "Scan Files" places it on a list. After scanning you need to delete temporary files using the "Delete" button. You can set your own criteria of searching for temporary files:
