It helps you rip your DVDs to VCD, SVCD, DivX, MPEG, AVI, WMV, RMVB files etc. It supports ripping by custom file size, as well as splitting output file to fit your CD-R, if you would like to burn to VCD. Also you can rip any segment in a DVD. The software also supports preview. In addition, it allows you to choose an audio channel and subtitle to rip, which is convenient when ripping multi-language movies.

DVDPean Video is an easy to use DVD ripper to copy DVD to DivX (which has better quality and smaller size), VCD (MPEG1), SVCD (MPEG-2), AVI, WMV, RMVB. It provides you excellent Video quality and smaller file size.

The step-by-step wizard allows you to select necessary parameters to rip DVD video. The last step of step-by-step wizard is to select language from English, French, Italian, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. This multinational language support is the new feature. DVDPean Video supports multiple split methods, such as selecting chapters to copy, and ripping from specified starting time and ending time.

Compared to DVDPean Pro, it doesn't support ripping DVD audio. Bur except that, they are nearly same. Both DVDPean Video and DVDPean Pro are Ok!
