1. New:Choosing this command will create a new . sqf file. Click the down arrow to expand the commands: New File (Ctrl+N): Click New File or press Ctrl+N to create a new. sqf file. New window: Choose this command to open a new design window while keeping the existing windows.
   
   
2. Open:Choose this command to open a .sqf file. Click the down arrow and you'll find a list of recent files, so that you can select one and open it in Sothink SWF Quicker quickly.
   
   
3. Import: To import SWF and image files. Click the down arrow and find the Import to Library command. This is for importing an image file or a .swf file to the library.
   
   
4. Undo:Undo a change. Clicking the down arrow reveals a list of changes you made recently, so that you can choose one or more and undo that action(s).
   
   
5. Preview in Player/Browser:To preview your work in Flash Player a selected web browser. The default player is Flash Player.
   
   
6. Export Movie:Choose this command to export your movie as a .swf file. Click the down-arrow, and you'll find these two options: Export Movie (Ctrl+E) and Fast Export (Ctrl+Shift+E)

Frequently Asked Questions - Sothink SWF Quicker

1. What is the difference between Sothink SWF Quicker & Sothink SWF Decompiler?
   Sothink SWF Quicker is a flash movie editor. Most function of it is like Flash and furthermore, it support importing and editing movie file in *.swf format. Decompiler is just a flash decompile tool. It can not be used to create or edit movie.
   
   
2. How to remove the word "Power by Sothink" in the flash movie created by Sothink SWF Quicker?
   The words "Powered by Sothink" in the top left corner of the exported files, will only appear in the flash movie which is created by the unregistered version of Quicker. Once you register the software, such words will disappear automatically.
   
   
3. How to edit the existing text in Sothink SWF Quicker?
   Please take the following steps to modify the text content in swf file: 1. Open the file in Quicker. 2. Look at Movie Explorer. If it is not open, click "View--> Movie Explorer". 3. In Explorer, click the Filter button an check "Show Text" only. (You can choose "none" to uncheck all and then check "Show Text"). 4. All texts in this movie will be shown now. 5. Click + to expand the group and choose one text symbol. The instance of this text symbol will be selected on the canvas. 6. Click the scroll bar of canvas window to active the text instance. 7. Then choose "Modify --> Edit Text" so you can change the content of text. Right-click the text symbol and choose "View Instance...". In the pop up dialog, you will know in which symbol or layer its instance is used. Click the symbol's name and the program will active the text's instance in that symbol. Then close the "View instance..." dialog and choose the Text tool. Now you can edit the text.
   
   
4. Does Sothink SWF Quicker support exporting in exe or fla format from the current version?
   We are sorry that current version of Sothink SWF Quicker does not support generating the movie file in exe or fla format. To generate exe file, you can open the swf file in Flash Player 6 or above version. Then click "File --> Create Projector" to convert it to exe format.
   
   
5. Why did I not see the SWF Catcher icon on my IE toolbar
   1. Please check if you installed Sothink SWF Quicker with all your IE windows closed. If not, please reinstall the program with all IE closed. 2. If you customized your toolbar before, your toolbar will not show any newly-added toolbar buttons. Please go to View>Toolbar>Customize in IE to add SWF Catcher button from Available Toolbar Buttons to Current Toolbar Buttons. Thus, the SWF Catcher icon will show on your IE toolbar.
   
   
6. How can I sound effect, such as fade in/out?
   After adding sound to a document, click the timeline frame which contains the sound, then look at properties panel. At the bottom is for sound properties. Select an effect option from the Effects combo box. Besides fade in/out effect, you can also add other effects such as: Left Channel/Right Channel.
   
   
7. Can I import Video file and customize its video and audio quality?
   Of course you can. SWF Quicker supports importing AVI, MPEG, WMV/ASF, MOV/QT, RM/RMVB, DivX/XviD, etc. You may need extra CODECs to import these type of files.
   Right after your importing, the program will deliver a pop-up dialog box which help you to adjust audio and video quality freely.
   Click preview button, you can preview the video in Flash Player.
   By the way, the video file can be exported to .swf and .exe.
   
   
8. Can I remove or replace the effect I have added to the text? Can I add two or more effects to one text?
   To remove or replace the added effect, please right-click the text to choose Remove Effect in the context dialog. To add two or more effects to one text, please do as follows:
   
   1. Select the frame you want the text to start another effect, and insert a keyframe there.
   2. Right-click the text on the stage and create effect again. Repeat the above steps to add more effects.
