How to use AVI/MPEG CD Maker
- First, please double click the icon on the desktop to run the software.
- Then the software LOGO comes out. Ater the main panel appears; check VCD or SVCD to burn
- Choose an appropriate capacity option for the target CDR. (The option you choose should be smaller than or equal to, but not bigger than the real capacity of your CDRs).
- Click the 'Add video files' button, a search box will pop out, by which you can find the video file you want to burn, and add the file to the source list.
- Click the Play button to preview the real effect, before you burn to your CDR. Of course, you can disregard the button if you do not want to preview.
- Click 'Start burning' button to burn the files to your CDR.

- What are the installation requirements?
1. Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows XP
2. Pentium-II 450 MHz or faster processor
3. At least 64 MB of RAM
4. A CD-R drive.

- How to install ACM on my computer?
You may follow these procedures to install:
1. Download our softer on your computer.
2. Double click the installing file.
3. Follow the directions on the installing program step by step to install ACM.
4. The installation completes successfully.
- How to swich target format from VCD to SVCD?
Press the word "SVCD" on the blue bar, a small window will be pop, press "Yes" to confirm it, then Making mode will change to SVCD. And you can switch it back. Please be note, after confirm it, the video files would be removed from list.
- Why I cannot add AVI or MPEG1 video files when I want to burn them to SVCD?
Now only files in MPEG2 format can be burned to SVCD due to some encoding problem. But we are sure that more file formats will be supported in the new version.
- How long does it take to burn a CD/R?
It depends on some factors, such as the CPU and RAM of your system, how much avi files(AVI files need to convert), the capacity of your CDR and so on. Generally speaking, it takes about 10 minutes to burn a 640Mb CDR(no AVI files include) .
- Why some disks cannot be played on VCD players or DVD players?
Not all the VCD/DVD players support all CD-R and CD-RW. You may refer to the User Guide of the VCD/DVD player; there are instructions on the player's compatibility with CD-RW and CD-R.
- How to use AVI/MPEG CD MAKER to make a VCD from AVI/MPEG? (if you have never used this software, please refer to this.)
