- Which version of DirectX Runtime is required?
If your os is Win98,WinMe or Win2000. DirectX 8.0 or higher is needed. Please download it and install it.
- Which video format is supported on Ultra Video Splitter?
Ultra Video Splitter supports AVI,MPEG1,MPEG2,DVD(.VOB),VCD(.DAT),RealMedia file(*.rm,*.rmvb),ASF,WMV,DivX(download codec), XviD(download codec),MPEG4.
- When I open a video file, I got an error info "Fail in initializing the file!", Why?
If your file is RealMedia(.rm, .rmvb) format, you should install RealOne Player.
If your file is other video formats, It is because of there is not CODEC for this video file in your system. In normal, if your Window Media Player can play it , Ultra Video Splitter supports this video file too. If your Window Media Player can't play it, you should install more CODEC to your system. You can install K-Lite Codec Pack on our recommendation.
- Can I convert video files to DivX format?
Yes. You should install Divx codec. After install Divx codec, you can select DivX in Video Compressor's combobox.
- Can I convert video files to Xvid format?
Yes. You should install Xvid codec. After install Xvid codec, you can select Xvid in Video Compressor's combobox.
- Can Ultra Video Splitter support VCD(.DAT) files?
Yes. Of course.
- Can Ultra Video Splitter support DVD(.vob) files?
Not always, Ultra Video Splitter supports DVD(.vob) files, but not supports some encrypted DVD. In addition you can install DVD CODEC and then try it again.
- Can Ultra Video Splitter convert a single file?
Yes. You can use it as a Video Converter.
