How to create a Slideshow?

1) First decide on the dimensions that you want to use.
2) If your pictures are not all the same dimensions, open up your paint program and make sure they are.
I have added a "pictures" directory where you will find a couple of pictures of 200 x 200 pixels.
3) Set the "Movie Dimensions" in the application (for the above pictures I used width 200 and height 200)
4) Choose the border and background color.
5) Set the slide duration ( measured in 1/10 sec.)
6) Click on the Effects tab.
Tick "Use the same for all slides" and choose the desired effect.
You can also not tick "Use the same for all slides", and assign for each slide it's own unique effect under the "Slides" tab.
To change the variable used in each effect, such as duration, size, fade, etc., select the numberin the "value" enter field, and enter the desired number.
7) Click on "sound" tab if you would like to assign you own background music to the slide show. We have added a music directory so you can easily pick your own music files.
8) Finally click on the "Slides" tab. This is where it's all about. I will list the 3 most important options
Add Item: Click on Add Item to add a new slide to your own slide show.
Link: In the Link input filed you can assign the desired URL for each picture. (Note that the unregistered version will jump to the Amarasoftware website)
File name: If you want to update an already listed picture click on the small box with the 3 little dots. The windows file selector will popup so you can select the desired picture.
9) To preview the created Slideshow Click on "Generate and display" or Preview/Preview in browser
10) To Save the slide show click on Save/Save SWF

Q: How do I save the settings for each animation?
A: All our tools automatically save all data entered in the application as a template. It's recommended that, for each new animation you want to create, you first create a new template. To do so, click on the "New" button above the "Generate and Display" button. If you want, you can highlight the template name and enter your own unique name. Now when you close the application all the data for this specific animation will be saved under that template name.
Q: My HTML editor does not provide me with a good option to insert Flash files, how should i go about this?
A: When you insert the Flash Navigation Menu into your HTML page, please use the HTML code as provided by the software. Alternatively, you may use the code generated by your own HTML editor.
Q: How do I create a Flash album with navigation buttons?
A: The software allows you to create Flash slideshows, Flash albums and Flash albums with navigation buttons. Please go to the "Type" tab to select the appropriate Flash animation that you would like to create.
Q: How do add some text on top of each slide?
A: If you wish, you can enter some basic text to be displayed on each picture/slide. To do so, click on the "Text" tab, select the required slide and enter your text.
Q: How do I make the slideshow loop only once and freeze on the last slide?
A: The software allows you to loop the slide show once or indefinitely. Please go to the "Type" tab, select the "Standard Slideshow" option and set tick the loop option.
