Insert Flash
There are two methods of inserting flash into your page. The Html Editor comes equipped with a mini-flash tool, so you can create a text animation directly in the editor. If you have already created your own flash movie, the editor can also generate the code needed to insert a .swf file.
- The Flash Text Wizard:
First set the movie parameters such as width and height. You can specify a background color, and the text you want displayed in your flash movie.
Once you hit cool, you must specify a file name for your .swf file. Save this file in your working directory. After the save is complete, you must paste the code for the flash movie onto your page. You can do this by going to Edit->Paste.
- Insert a .swf File:
If you have already created a flash movie, in a program such as Firestarter, the Html Editor can generate the code needed to insert your movie. Just click on Insert Flash Tag. Now you can specify the name of the .swf file, or browse your computer for the file. Important! Don't forget to specify a width an height. If you do not, your movie will not appear! You may also specify if the movie loops when it has finished playing. Now hit cool, and the code is inserted for you.
