1. Click on the "New Application" button. Enter the name of your application in the dialog box and click OK.
2. Enter the application Archive Filename. In this field, you should enter the name of your program archive. For example, if you would like to distribute executable it may be "asg.exe", or "asg.zip" for a zip file.
3. Select the release date for your software in the month, day and year fields.
4. Select the platform. Select all platforms which are supported by your software.
5. Enter the file size of the archive in bytes. Make sure you enter the file size in bytes, not kb or mb. Aid Submission Genius will automatically convert it to kb and mb for sites which requires it.
6. Enter the installed file size in bytes. This should be the actual amount of hard disk space taken when the program is fully installed.
7. Select the expiration date if any. This should be used ONLY if your program will expire on a specific date.
8. Enter an 8 character filename in the Short Name field. Some sites use such filenames for uploaded files. It is better to give a name which is combined of program name words. For example: software name is Aid Submission Genius, short name is "asg".
9. Enter the current version number of your software.
10. Select your role as a person submitting this application. Select either Author, Distributor, Dealer or User for the Submitted By field.
11. Select the distribution Status. Please be exact. Do not select Freeware if your software is Adware. Most of sites will not accept submission of that kind.
12. Enter the price for this application in US dollars without the $ sign.
13. Enter the evaluation period if any.

1. Why Aid Submission Genius?
   The reason for creating a new generation software submission tool is that there are over 500 shareware and freeware sites currently online. New shareware sites are springing up every day. Older sites frequently change their submission forms and acceptance policy. Manual submission in this situation is practically impossible.
   
   Standard automated submission tools don't solve submission problems. Blind software submitting, without analyzing sites, causes well over half of the submissions to fail.
