Pros: The rips no longer miss the first and last few seconds. All of the songs are tagged properly. Records multiple streams at the same time. Cons: Trial version doesn't save album covers. Review: To get songs for your iPod legally, thus far there have been only a few methods: One could either rip CDs, buy (download) MP3s from the internet or use an internet radio recording tool. The last option, although being the only free legal option, always involves a lot of editing as internet radio stations crossfade between song titles. Aside from the time required, songs would almost always miss some piece at the beginning or end after editing. Here comes a tool called iGetMusic. Although it seems that this tool is fairly new and to be honest I haven't been using iGetMusic for more than a day, I can state that iGetMusic is by far the fastest and most convenient method of building a music selection for free. Not only are the songs which are recorded exactly the same as if ripped off a CD but all songs are tagged properly without lifting a finger. Also, iGetMusic will automatically save album covers (if this option is selected) which is pretty cool when playing back the songs with Winamp or on an iPod. I am not going back to ripping CDs or downloading MP3s after having used this nifty tool. The only drawback is that the trial version is somewhat limited but enough to get a good feel for the functionality. Review iGetMusic 1.0 now and share your experience with other users. |
