Blue-Cloner 1.20 Reviewed by Wang on Dec 28, 2009 This software Blue-Cloner is very professional for cloning blu-ray DVD discs no matter for video or data. It not only supports 1:1 cloning but also allows editing or removing unwanted features according to different requirements. As to the copying speed, it is very fast as long as the hardware isn`t limited. It`s worth a try. Blue-Cloner 2.60 Reviewed by Barkley Chism on Mar 25, 2012 I upgraded Blue-Cloner 3.0 and the sync is totally off. It is less expensive if you just but the movie and view your original only. I have wasted about 10 BD trying get the software to work, and blue-ray blanks are expense. Do not waste your time or money on this product. Their support sucks also. Blue-Cloner 2.60 Reviewed by Rod on Mar 10, 2012 Program makes picture perfect copies and the best thing about it is you are done with the audio part of the movie 5 minutes earlier so you don't have to watch the last 5 minutes if you don't want too! Seriously this program has a major audio-video sync problem that you can't overcome. I've burnt 25 coasters so far and I'm done and moving on to another program to make my backups. Take my word and don't buy it. Blue-Cloner 2 2010 Reviewed by Harry on Sep 8, 2010 I have just purchased Blue Cloner 2 and it seems pretty straight forward. The interface is very friendly, but you will need a 3rd party parser like AnyDVD in order to get it to work properly. It can do a 1:1 copy on a BD-R DL or compress on to a 25gb BD-R/BDRE disc. The copression works fairly well, but not as good as a 1:1 burn(no compression). I found it strange that after the loading and burn(loading takes about 5 hrs, burning about an hour)that the BDMV files didn't show on the disc, but played fine on PowerDVD,which recognized it.Overall get used to waiting a long time to get the copy.I would copy at night, and have the copy ready the next morning. However,it does deliver a very good copy. Pretty simple to us. PS-record in .256 mode not mpeg2. Much better quality. It worked very well for all my BD's but as soon as I downloaded version 1.40, the compression stopped working. Developers need to correct this issue and release a newer version that works. Blue-Cloner 1.20 Reviewed by Jimmy on Dec 22, 2009 Does what it says and does it well. The quality is pretty good for halving the size of the disk. Seems to be the most economical and easiest way at the moment to back up full 50gb commercial blu ray discs.Cuts out all the BS and youre left with just the main title and audio track of your choosing - no original chapters. I ran into one minor bug and ended up having to burn the back up file with nero. This is the reason for my -1 star, if i didnt already have Nero then this would be useless. Blue-Cloner 1.20 Reviewed by Lynn on Sep 23, 2009 I got the full version of Blue Cloner V1.10 & V1.20.. Out of 10 attempted movies, only 1 movie works. That movie was a 1:1 copy with no compression required. The rest either have only movie extras, half of the movie, or don't play at all. They ALL have HORRIBLE, pixelized compression. (much worse than VHS!) I have AnyDVD HD, and it works flawlessly. I have burned many 1:1 copies using different software. Blue Cloner claims that it can put ALL movies on a 25gig. disc. . It can not. It couldn't even make 1:1 copies that worked properly. I looked all over the web for reviews etc., but all I could find were advertisements for Blue Cloner. On the other hand, I really liked the ease of use, user interface etc.. If the movies worked, this software would be awesome. However, since burning has a 10 percent success rate, the software is garbage. Unfortunately, BD-R's are expensive, and ruining 9 of them has made me resentful of the software. I have been burning DVD's for years, and this is the worst software I have ever seen. I have burned many 1:1 blu ray copies on the fly, and never had bad results... To top it off, Blue Cloner is the slowest software too. avg: 3-4 hours per movie vs 2-3 hours with other software. Quite simply, BLUE CLONER DOESN'T WORK. Are there any reliable, easy to use software out there that work to seperate blu ray movies from titles and fit to a 25gig disc?! -In case you are wondering if it is my computer that is the problem.. My system: 2.3 GHZ quad processor w/ 3gigs of dual channel ram. Windows 7, 64 bit. -Yes it is a REALLY good, media center computer that came with blu ray player/ burner and HDMI outs.. (I added an LG blu ray burner, so now it has 2 blu ray drives) It is made to handle blu ray etc. Review Blue-Cloner 3.30 now and share your experience with other users. |
