Zotero Word Plugin for Mac is word processor plugins integrate Zotero into Microsoft Word and OpenOffice/ LibreOffice/ NeoOffice for Mac OS X.

The word processor plugins are distributed as Firefox extensions, which provide integration support to Zotero and install the necessary components into the word processors. After you have installed a plugin from this page, Firefox will prompt you to install later versions automatically the same way that it does for Zotero.

The latest version of the Mac Word plugin for Zotero 2.1 is 3.1.1 (compatible with Word 2000 or newer and Windows 2000 or newer).

For Mac OS X
The latest version of the Mac Word plugin for Zotero 2.1 is 3.1.5 (compatible with Word 2004, 2008, and 2011 and Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or later, including Lion). Firefox 4+ compatibility requires 10.6 Snow Leopard or later, so users of 10.4 or 10.5 will need to upgrade or use Firefox 3.6.

OpenOffice, LibreOffice & NeoOffice
The latest version of the OpenOffice plugin for Zotero 2.1 is 3.5a2.

This revised OpenOffice/NeoOffice/LibreOffice plugin should fix the vast majority of installation issues experienced with older OpenOffice plugins. This newer plugin is not yet compatible with Zotero Standalone, and integration will no longer work in Zotero Standalone after it is installed.
