Kaleider Publisher Description

Kaleider emulates various Kaleidoscope, Mirroring, 3D Mirroring and Funneling effects. Effects can be controlled manually to create particular desired results, or patterns can be automatically, randomly generated to provide a fascinating, ever-changing display of colors and image fragments on the screen. Shifting/Wandering Effects add motion to the graphics, and the Rooms feature creates depth perspectives. Music can accompany the effects.

The Mask/Mandala option merges a static background with changeable, evolving patterns to produce interesting composite images. Effects can be accompanied by music from the Audio Player. Kaleider display sequences can be captured to Video, and actions can be Scripted to create choreographed performances of dynamic art, optionally controlled via a MIDI device.

Aside from any usefulness though, Kaleider is really just entertaining and fascinating to watch while in Automatic Effects mode, with an endless variety of randomly selected effects wandering across the screen according to randomly selected patterns. The Rooms feature exhibits Kaleider patterns in 3D perspectives, optionally with automated Roaming motion. This visual experience can also be accompanied by music from the built-in Audio Player.
